Bureda Pearl was launched in my living room while navigating waves of grief and gratitude. I found myself knotting pearl necklaces to dissociate from the present and from the loss I felt after my grandmother passed. Always very smitten with her, it wildly hurt to know she was no longer here.

After working in the jewelry industry for 10 years with a handful of wonderful designers, it felt easy to turn this form of therapy into a collection. It brings me joy for many reasons. It's chic and fun. It's meant to be layered, loved with pieces you already wear daily. It's fully customizable... and yes we love to make custom orders; don't be shy! It's all real pearls and gemstones with 14k gold clasps.
